Billing and Insurance
Updated insurance information must be provided at the time of service. We will require a copy of your insurance cards before services are performed and this information will be retained in our system for future use. We file all insurance claims in a timely manner.
It is the patient’s responsibility to verify that insurance coverage is active prior to the visit. Please contact your employer or insurance provider to verify your coverage and benefits before your visit. The patient must understand and comply with all of their insurance plan requirements.
Despite having health insurance, there may be a variety of reasons you will owe a balance after we bill your insurer, including:
- Deductibles
- Co-pays
- Co-insurance
- Non-covered procedures
If your insurance plan does not cover our services, payment in full is expected at the time of your visit. Contact us promptly if temporary financial problems will affect timely payment of your account, to prevent your account from going to collections.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
For patients not using an insurance plan we offer a discount at the time of service. We will work with you to make sure you get the care you need and deserve. If you have questions regarding insurance or our financial policy, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help.
